Jewellery By Nasira has taken home not one but two exceptional awards this month. Jewellery by Nasira was announced the winner of the highly coveted ‘Creative Jewellers of the Year’ at the 3rd Annual British Asian Wedding Awards and Highly Commended ‘Business Woman of the Year 2019’ at the SheAwards which celebrates achievements of female leaders.
The British Asian Wedding Awards ceremony held at the Millenium Gloucester Hotel in London on the 6th March celebrates the hard work and commitment of Britain’s ever-growing Asian wedding industry. With the average British Asian wedding costing upwards of £50,000 this award ceremony rewards the dedication of exceptional suppliers, thanking them for going above and beyond to make each individual wedding the most memorable day of a couples life.
The She Awards hosted by The Sapphire Group, took place on Saturday 9th March at the Grove Banqueting Suite in London. This ceremony recognises and celebrates the achievement of women from all walks of life and brings together communities through creativity and inspiration and International Women’s Day.
Shortlisted in December 2018, Nasira Kasmani of ‘Jewellery By Nasira’ was nominated and won the Highly Commended Businesswomen of the year category at this prestigious annual event. Other SheAward categories included ‘Inspirational Role Model’, ‘Champion Fundraiser’, ‘Community Champion’, ‘Remarkable Woman’, ‘Unsung Heroine’, ‘Valiant Volunteer’ and ‘Honorary Awards’ and were presented by The Mayor of Redbridge, The Mayor of Havering and former Apprentice star Jasmine Kundra.
On winning the awards, owner Nasira Kasmani said “ I was so surprised as I was amongst such amazing, well established wedding based companies and ladies that have done so well in their business lives. I am really honoured and privileged to be recognised. It is such an achievement.”
